Days of Awe: Haredi poses as secular, stabs man on way to Selichot prayers
A criminal indictment was filed against Shlomi Chaim, an Afula resident age 39, following a brutal and premeditated assault on a city resident who was en route to Selichot prayers at a synagogue. When the complainant left his home and headed toward his car, the defendant attacked him, sprayed a neutralizing substance toward him and stabbed him with a sharp object in his shoulder and chest.
