IDF downed cargo drone at Jordan border, seized nine Kalashnikovs and pistol
IDF forces at the eastern border prevented a major smuggling of weapons and ammunition to the West Bank and Judea. A heavy cargo drone that crossed the border was identified and apparently downed in electronic warfare, which transferred control of it to the IDF and forced it to land. Nine automatic Kalashnikov rifles, a pistol and several ammunition magazines were seized from the drone.

IDF forces at the eastern border prevented a major smuggling of weapons and ammunition to the West Bank and Judea, after a heavy cargo drone that crossed the Jordan border was downed electronically and nine Kalashnikov rifles, a pistol and several ammunition magazines were seized from it.
An IDF spokesperson authorized publication that a suspected and unauthorized aircraft was identified that attempted to cross the eastern border. Forces in the field identified the drone, and according to photographs provided by the IDF it was shot down apparently through electronic warfare, which transferred control of it to the IDF and forced it to land.
The cargo drone carried a shipment of no fewer than 10 weapons and ammunition that were en route to West Bank areas. The fighters seized the weapons that were on the drone.
According to the report, the smuggling included nine automatic Kalashnikov rifles, which are particularly favored by militants in the area, as well as a single pistol and several ammunition magazines.
