הממונה על התחרות חתמה עם יבואנית נעלי רוקפורט, חברת אוריג'ינלס, על צו מוסכם שלפיו תשלם למדינה יותר מ-3 מיליון שקלים, לאחר שלפי הבדיקה חסמה גישת ישראלים לאתר האמריקני של המותג כדי למנוע מהם רכישה מוזלת בחו"ל.

הממונה על התחרות פרסמה היום (חמישי) צו מוסכם עם חברת איי. אי. איל בעמ (אוריג'ינלס), יבואנית נעלי רוקפורט, במסגרתו תשלם החברה יותר מ-3 מיליון שקלים לאוצר המדינה. לפי הבדיקה שערכה הרשות, אוריג'ינלס התלוננה בפני חברת רוקפורט על יבוא אישי מאתרה בחו"ל, ובעקבות זאת נחסמה גישת גולשים מישראל לאתר האמריקני והם הופנו לאתר אוריג'ינלס, במטרה למנוע מהם השוואת מחירים ורכישה מוזלת בחו"ל.

צרכנים ישראלים נהגו להשוות מחירים באתר רוקפורט האמריקני ולבצע רכישות באמצעות שילוח לישראל. הדבר עלה בפני בעלת המותג העולמית במהלך משא ומתן מסחרי של נציגי אוריג'ינלס עמה בנושא פערי המחירים, והיא זו שהציעה זאת, כשאוריג'ינלס מסרה לשם כך את כתובת אתרה. בעקבות פתיחת הבדיקה הוחזרה אפשרות הגלישה לאתר האמריקני, ואוריג'ינלס תשלם את הכסף למדינה בלא שהדבר ייחשב להודאה במעשים. הצו הועבר לעיון הציבור להערות במשך 30 ימים.
