The IDF and Shin Bet announced that fighter Mohammad Hamad Mohammad Gabin, a commander in the military wing of Hamas terror organization, was eliminated in a strike on Tuesday last week in northern Gaza Strip, and Liri Albag, who according to her was held by him for nearly a year, reacted: "What a crazy circle closure."

The IDF and Shin Bet announced Sunday that fighter Mohammad Hamad Mohammad Gabin, a commander in the military wing of Hamas terror organization, was eliminated in a strike conducted last Tuesday in northern Gaza Strip. According to their statement, throughout the war he was involved in holding captive Ziv Barman, Itan Mor, Liri Albag, Agam Barger, Matan Angrest, Gali Barman, Amri Miran, Keith Siegel and Alon Ahel.

Liri Albag reacted Sunday to the elimination: "When good news like that arrives, you can't hide the smile. What a crazy circle closure." According to her, Gabin was the fighter who held her and Agam Barger for nearly a year. "I have so much to tell about him, and I could elaborate for hours on the suffering he put us through," she wrote, and added: "How good that you're not here anymore."

Albag signed her reaction with reference to a conversation she said occurred between the two while she was captive: "Remember the argument between us about who of us would go to hell? Good to know we were right this time too."

Matan Angrest, whom according to the IDF and Shin Bet Gabin was involved in holding captive, also reacted to the elimination and shared a photo of the fighter. "How long I waited for this moment. Proud of my brothers for the kiss that sent you to hell!!!" he wrote, and later added: "I will pursue my enemies and catch them, and will not turn back until they are gone."
