MK Yasser Hajrat of Raam refused to define Hamas as a terror organization in an interview with Noa Dromi on i24NEWS, and claimed that part of the organization does charity work and another part works to obtain the right of existence and recognition as a state.
In an interview with Noa Dromi on i24NEWS, MK Yasser Hajrat of Raam was asked if he is able to say that Hamas is a terror organization. The MK replied: 'It is an organization in which part of it does charity work and another part works to obtain the right of existence and recognition as a state.'
Dromi also asked what Raam will do given that parts of the Change Bloc don't want partnership with it at all. Hajrat said that in politics there is talk before elections and after elections, and added: 'Eisenkot is also talking today to his bloc because the majority went rightward and they want to get as many mandates as possible.' According to him, he would be happy if the Change Bloc manages without Raam, 'but if not, they can take into account that they have Raam.'
When asked if Israel can continue targeted operations in Gaza, Hajrat evaded again and replied: 'We need to continue the peace policy.'
