How we work

The Israel News desk picks the stories published on the site from reports that were already published, mostly by Israeli media outlets.

We write the stories with the help of AI tools, only from the sources named in the story. We add no information that is not in the source.

Names, numbers and quotes are checked against the source, and a quote is given word for word.

The desk writes the headline of every story.

At the end of the story there is a link to the source it is based on.

The English, Russian and French editions are translated from the Hebrew with AI tools.

Editorial line: the site does not publish stories whose main subject is an attack on the prime minister and his family, the Likud, the government and its ministers or Channel 14, nor stories on the conduct of the prime minister's trial. Political news that only mentions them is published as usual.

There are no sponsored stories on the site, and we do not publish content that media outlets marked as marketing or sponsored.

Most photos on the site appear as they were published by the source outlet, and their rights belong to their owners.

Pages published on the site up to 25 September 2026, before the switch to desk stories, remain at their address. They are not desk stories and are not listed on the site or in the archive.
