A report published by Arutz 7 this morning, citing The Atlantic, describes US consideration of options for renewed strikes on Iran after the midterm elections. According to the report, Donald Trump has not approved further action, and no strike date has been announced.
The reported options range from limited strikes to a longer campaign, alongside the possibility of maintaining maritime pressure. Efforts are also underway to promote direct talks between Washington and Tehran.
The report also claims that Trump asked outside advisers for assessments of Pete Hegseth and Dan Caine. Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell rejected the claim that Hegseth presented an overly optimistic picture. White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly said the president has full confidence in both officials.
