Man about 30 severely injured by hit-and-run at checkpoint in Maccabim area; driver shot dead
According to police, the driver accelerated toward the injured person standing on the Palestinian side of the checkpoint, in an area where a police patrol and soldiers were present. The Palestinian Authority's Civil Affairs Ministry said the driver is Mahmoud Muhammad Saliman, 29, from Ghor al-Tahta.
