According to the morning report, Miriam Adelson sold her Dallas Mavericks shares last month to her daughter Sivan and son-in-law Patrick Dumont, who now hold 69% of the NBA franchise.
Walla Sport reported that the transfer made the Dumont family the team's controlling owner. Patrick Dumont had already been a central decision-maker since control was purchased from Mark Cuban in 2023.
According to the report, the family plans a new arena and holds an option to purchase additional Cuban shares. These are future plans and an option, not further completed transactions. Adelson's share sale occurred last month, not this morning.
