The state president addressed the Ahmadiyya Islamic community gathering in Haifa, attended by about 1,000 people, and addressed the Jewish-Arab conflict: "The idea that this is a religious conflict is very superficial and extreme." Herzog praised the community's work promoting coexistence: "You are a true bridge."
