'Bears command responsibility': IDF decided to dismiss Gaza division commander on Oct. 7
Head of Ground Forces Command decided to discharge Lt. Col. A', who served as the division's intelligence officer on the day of the massacre, following his failures in performance in the period preceding the attack. The officer attempted to stop the process in court, but his arguments were rejected. He can appeal the decision to the chief of staff.
