Security forces announced overnight a targeted operation in the area from which they say the attackers who killed two soldiers originated. The operation includes searches, questioning of suspects and movement restrictions.
According to an IDF and Shin Bet statement cited by N12, the operation is led by the Judea Brigade, alongside Border Police and the Judea District Coordination and Liaison office, and is expected to last several days. Forces are searching for weapons and terrorist infrastructure and questioning suspects.
According to the report, residents in the operational area can leave through three designated screening and questioning points. The operation follows Friday's attack in which Staff Sgt. Ron Yonatan Roitman and Sgt. Yuval Shai Sweilem were killed. The article uses an archive photograph, not footage of the current operation.
