Arkia announced it was halting ticket sales to Marrakech until further notice following requirements from security authorities. The airline said it was reviewing whether to continue operating the route and would update passengers who had already booked.

According to the company's statement published by N12, the decision followed security requirements for flights to Morocco. Arkia said it was in contact with the relevant authorities and security bodies and was also examining options involving commercial partners.

The implications for flights already booked remain under review, the company said. The statement reviewed did not give a date for ticket sales to resume or guarantee a specific alternative for every existing booking. Ticket holders will need an individual update from the airline.
