Lt. Col. Yogev Bar-Sheshet retires from IDF amid suspicions of abuse of authority and classified information disclosure
Deputy Comptroller of the Israeli Defense Establishment Lt. Col. Yogev Bar-Sheshet is retiring from IDF service after being accused of abuse of authority and disclosure of classified information. An IDF Military Police investigation found evidence of the acts, but the Military Prosecutor's Office ruled he will not face criminal charges, and his case was transferred to disciplinary proceedings.

Deputy Comptroller of the Israeli Defense Establishment Lt. Col. Yogev Bar-Sheshet is retiring from IDF service after being accused of abuse of authority and disclosure of classified information, and although the IDF Military Police investigation found evidence of the acts, the Military Prosecutor's Office ruled that Bar-Sheshet will not face criminal charges.
Lt. Col. Yogev Bar-Sheshet, Deputy Comptroller of the Israeli Defense Establishment, was accused of abuse of authority and disclosure of classified information.
According to reports, the IDF Military Police investigation found evidence of the acts, but the Military Prosecutor's Office ruled that Bar-Sheshet will not face criminal charges. His case was transferred to disciplinary proceedings by Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Tamir Yadai.
Following the Deputy Chief of Staff's investigation, the decision was made to retire the IDF officer immediately.
