Six Injured in Nursing Home Fire in Bnei Brak, Two in Critical Condition
A fire broke out overnight Wednesday-Thursday in one apartment on the first floor of the 'Mishkanot Vetkim Nursing Home' on Amram Gaon Street in Bnei Brak. Six people were injured and taken to Shiba Hospital, two in critical condition, three in moderate condition and one in light condition. Firefighters rescued residents trapped in the burning apartment, approximately 40 residents were evacuated from the building, and an arson investigator was called to examine the circumstances of the fire.

Six people were injured overnight Wednesday-Thursday in a fire that broke out at the 'Mishkanot Vetkim Nursing Home' on Amram Gaon Street in Bnei Brak. Two of the injured were taken to Shiba Hospital in critical condition, three in moderate condition and one in light condition.
According to the report, the fire broke out in one of the apartments on the first floor out of eight in the building. Fire suppression and rescue teams from Bnei Brak and Ramat Gan stations were called to the scene and worked to extinguish the fire while conducting searches for those trapped.
During the searches, several residents who were trapped in the burning apartment were located, and firefighters rescued them. In total, approximately 40 residents were evacuated from the building, and approximately 20 additional residents were checked and treated on site with their condition assessed as light.
The Magen David Adom said a call was received at the emergency call center on a fire in a residential building on Amram Gaon Street in Bnei Brak. An arson investigator was called to the scene to examine the circumstances of the fire.
