Iran reports meeting between Mojtaba Khamenei and Ghalibaf

Iran's official news agency reported this evening that Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei met parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. According to the announcement, they discussed the confrontation with Israel and the United States and the country's economic difficulties.

Walla reported that the statement from the supreme leader's office was carried by IRNA and Tasnim. It described discussions of government-parliament coordination, social cohesion and relations with Iran's partners.

This is the Iranian authorities' account of the meeting and its contents. It does not by itself independently establish Khamenei's health or confirm that a new military decision was made.
