The IDF and Shin Bet said Musa Abd Muhammad Hamouda, a Hamas Nukhba operative, was killed Sunday in Gaza City. They said he helped plan an explosive-device attack that killed four tank crew members.

The announcement released today said Hamouda helped plan the throwing of an explosive device at a tank crew from Battalion 52 on September 8, 2025. All four crew members were killed. The airstrike was carried out as part of operations by the 162nd Division's 215th Fire Brigade.

The IDF and Shin Bet said Hamouda had recently worked to advance attacks on soldiers and civilians and rebuild Hamas' military capabilities in violation of the ceasefire. The allegations about his role in the attack and his recent activities are based on the security agencies' statement.
