Woman, age 90, killed after being hit by truck on Route 3525 near Bror Hail

A 90-year-old female pedestrian was killed this morning (Wednesday) after being hit by a truck on Route 3525 near Bror Hail, and Magen David Adom teams that were called to the scene were forced to determine her death at the scene.

The report of the accident was received at the 101 call center of Magen David Adom at 6:56 a.m. According to the report, paramedics and EMTs who arrived at the scene found the woman lying on the road in very serious condition, unconscious, without pulse and without breathing, suffering from multiple system trauma.

Paramedic Inbal Yeshaya of Magen David Adom, who treated the scene, said it was a severe incident, and added: "We performed medical tests and unfortunately we were forced to determine her death on site." Rescue Union forces also arrived at the scene, and Rescue Union paramedic Yosef Mizrahi reported that "unfortunately her death was determined on site due to the severe nature of the injuries she suffered."

From the police, it was reported that an investigation was opened into the circumstances of the accident, which involved a truck and a pedestrian.
