US President Trump rejects Iran's ceasefire proposal

US President Donald Trump said he rejects Iran's ceasefire proposal. According to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, proposal included opening Strait of Hormuz within seven days of agreement approval. According to Wall Street Journal report, Trump told advisors he expects US will resume strikes on Iran after midterm elections.

US President Donald Trump said today (Saturday) he rejects Iran's ceasefire proposal, which according to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi included opening of Strait of Hormuz within seven days of agreement approval.

US President Donald Trump said today (Saturday) he rejects proposal from Iran for ceasefire. According to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, proposal included opening of Strait of Hormuz within seven days of agreement approval.

"If essential conditions are met, Strait of Hormuz could be opened," Araghchi said yesterday at press conference. According to him, "Decision now lies with US."

According to Wall Street Journal report, Trump told advisors he expects US will resume strikes on Iran after midterm elections.
