Retired officer demands police chief obtain minister's approval for trip
A retired police officer is demanding that Commissioner Danny Levy and the police legal adviser not advance a trip to the Interpol conference without the national security minister's approval. He seeks a reply by November 9 and threatens court action. This is a demand in a warning letter, not a judicial order canceling the trip. Danny Levy, archive photo: Chaim Goldberg / Flash 90.

According to Arutz 14, a retired police officer asked Commissioner Danny Levy and the police legal adviser to halt the trip to the Interpol conference until Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir approves it.
The officer says a previous request sent on October 25 went unanswered and seeks a reply by November 9. He says he will go to court if there is no response. This is a demand in a warning letter, not a court order.
The letter asks police legal adviser Eran Nahon to instruct the organization not to advance funding or administration for the trip without approval. The source reviewed contains neither a judicial ruling nor a specific police response to the claims.
