Ben Gurion, Ramon and Haifa airports and land border crossings are closing today (Sunday) ahead of Yom Kippur, with activity resuming gradually after the holiday through Tuesday morning.
According to reports, the last international takeoffs and landings at Terminal 3 at Ben Gurion are scheduled for today (Sunday, September 20) at 1:55 p.m. The first international landing after the holiday is expected Monday evening, September 21, at 10:30 p.m., and the first takeoff at 11:30 p.m.
At Terminal 1, the last domestic flight departs at 1 p.m. and the last landing occurs at 1:10 p.m. Terminal activity resumes Tuesday, September 22, at 2 a.m.
At Ramon Airport in Eilat, the last landing is scheduled for today at 11:30 a.m., and at Haifa Airport at 2 p.m. Flights at both airports resume Tuesday at 6 a.m.
At land border crossings: Allenby Crossing will close today at 11 a.m., Rabin Crossing at noon, and Jordan River Crossing will accept passengers until 10:30 a.m. and close permanently at noon. The three crossings will reopen Tuesday, September 22. Begin Crossing, which connects Eilat to Sinai, will close today at 1 p.m. and reopen Monday at 10 p.m., after the holiday. Airport authorities recommend passengers verify exact times in advance, as opening times differ between facilities.
