North Korea conducted a large-scale combined fire exercise, which included missile launches, artillery and drones. The regime in Pyongyang claimed the exercise demonstrated "enormous destructive power" and was intended to overcome the air defense systems of the U.S. and South Korea. This comes despite efforts by U.S. President Donald Trump to renew diplomacy with Kim Jong Un.
