Torah world mourns Rabbi David Betzeri's passing: 'A holy and pure man'
The world of Torah and Kabbalah bids farewell to the elder of Kabbalists, head of the Shalom Yeshiva, the righteous Torah scholar Rabbi David Betzeri, who passed away at age 85. In the political establishment, among heads of yeshivas and his students, they eulogized one who dedicated his life to Torah, prayer and spiritual elevation of the masses: 'One of the great Torah and Kabbalah teachers of our generation. He served God with all the fibers of his soul.'
