'We'll support the proposal - if you cut funds for the ultra-Orthodox': Netanyahu asked Lapid to open the budget law
In a meeting between the Prime Minister and the opposition leader, Netanyahu asked to open the budget law to transfer more funds to the defense establishment. Lapid agreed to support the proposal on condition that coalition fund transfers to the ultra-Orthodox are cut: 'The budget source cannot be a tax increase - cancel funding for tax evasion.'
