Traveling to Jordan by Car? Vehicle Exit Banned at Two Border Crossings Starting Today
The Airports Authority announced that beginning today through Sept. 20, private vehicle exit from Israel to Jordan will not be allowed through the Jordan River and Isaac Rabin crossings. The reason is expected congestion ahead of Yom Kippur. Passengers without vehicles can still cross during operating hours, and the Jordan River crossing will offer shuttle service for 8 shekels per passenger.
