Kelly Croona, an 18-year-old dancer from Malta, was riding in the passenger seat of a car when the driver lost control and hit a barrier. According to reports, she bent down at that moment to pick up her phone from under the seat, and the airbag opened with tremendous force directly in her face. Croona was hospitalized in critical condition and died eight days after the accident.
