לפי הכותב מתי טוכפלד, מצביעים שכעסו על הממשלה והחליטו שלא להצביע לאחת ממפלגות הקואליציה מתחילים לחשוב מחדש ולשקול לחזור להצביע למפלגת השלטון, על רקע החידוד בשיח הישראלי בין ימין לשמאל.

לדברי הכותב, במפלגת השלטון חשים בימים האחרונים כי "המצביעים חוזרים הביתה", בעיקר מרגע שהשיח בישראל התחדד לימין ולשמאל. הוא טוען כי מצביעים שכעסו על הממשלה והחליטו שלא להצביע לאחת ממפלגות הקואליציה מתחילים לחשוב על כך ולהרהר הרהורי תשובה.
