"An affront to Maran": Maran's grandson at Supreme Court hearing: "Turning him into a political figure is abhorrent"
Following the Supreme Court's rejection of Shas's petition against canceling the commemorative study days for Maran Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, of blessed memory, his grandson, Rabbi Yaakov Sini, came to the Supreme Court for the first time in his life and protested in an interview with Kikar HaShabbat over the decision to reduce his grandfather's image to a political slot: "A cry bursting from the heart, his work was all Torah."
