High Court deals blow to coalition: Forbidden to transfer information about who voted in elections
The High Court bans use of the Elector app, which enables parties to report in real-time during elections on citizens who are not voting, following petitions filed on the matter. This is a reversal of the decision by the Central Elections Committee, which approved use of the app at the beginning of the month. Justice Yael Willner justified the decision by stating that use of the app constitutes a violation of the right to privacy.
