Eisenkot Continues Fighting for Leadership: "The Leadership I Am Determined to Promote"
A day after the battle over the identity of the Change Coalition's candidate for prime minister erupted into public confrontation, Yashar party chairman Eisenkot continues on his course seeking to establish his position as the coalition's leader. In a memorial race for fallen Druze soldiers, he presented a message of partnership and leadership: "Faced with attempts to divide us in every way, we will respond in partnership in every way." Yesterday he attacked Bennett and Liberman for refusing to determine in advance how the candidate for prime minister will be chosen.
