Tel Aviv Municipality Again Bans Gender-Segregated Forgiveness Event

The Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality refuses to permit a main forgiveness event on Tel Baruch beach with gender separation. Following the decision, the Association of Community Rabbis and the Linor Municipality have petitioned the District Court, demanding permission to hold the event in accordance with Jewish law. Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, Rabbi Ovadia Cohen, neighborhood rabbis and a large crowd are expected to attend.
